info What is iLoveTempDrive?

iLoveTempDrive is a temporary file sharing tool for short, private handoffs. It is useful when you want to move files between devices, share files during a work or college session, send files to a print shop, or pass files to someone without creating a permanent cloud folder.

Each temp drive starts with 30 minutes of access, supports up to 1 GiB of uploads, and can be extended in 30-minute steps up to 5 hours from creation.

For a broader overview of the service, read the temporary file sharing guide.

Open TempDrive and create a new temporary drive. You do not need an account, email address, or app install.

After the drive is created, TempDrive gives you a drive ID and password. Keep both of them together because they are the access details for the private room.

cloud_upload 2. Upload Files

Inside the room, choose the files you want to upload. TempDrive is built for quick transfers like documents, PDFs, images, print files, project exports, and other files that should not stay online forever.

Each temporary drive has a 1 GiB upload limit. If your file is larger than that, compress it or split it before uploading.

vpn_key 3. Share the Drive ID and Password

Send the drive ID and password to the person or device that needs access. They can join the same private temp drive from the homepage by entering those details.

Only share the details with people you trust. Anyone with both the drive ID and password can access the room while it is active.

download 4. Download, Preview, or Delete Files

People inside the room can download the uploaded files before the timer ends. Supported file types may also open in the browser for a quick preview.

When you are done, you can manually delete the room. If you do nothing, TempDrive automatically deletes the room and files when the timer expires.

timer 5. Extend the Timer if Needed

Every new drive starts with 30 minutes of access. If the transfer needs more time, use the extend button in the room to add 30 minutes.
