Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 11, 2026. This document outlines the clinical approach to data handling within the iLoveTempDrive utility ecosystem.

database Data Collection

iLoveTempDrive operates on a strict principle of data minimization. We collect only the absolute minimum telemetry required to facilitate secure, high-speed file transfers. When you interact with our service, we temporarily log connection metadata.

This metadata is strictly limited to:

  • Non-identifying browser and OS specifications (User-Agent string).
  • Coarse geographic routing data required for edge-node optimization.
  • Cryptographic hashes of uploaded files for integrity verification during transit.

We do not collect persistent identifiers, cross-site tracking cookies, or any personally identifiable information (PII) beyond what is explicitly provided for transactional notifications.

sync_alt How We Use Data

The functional data collected is utilized exclusively for the operational execution of the iLoveTempDrive service. This includes:

speed

Routing Optimization

Ensuring payload delivery uses the lowest-latency edge nodes available globally.

shield

Integrity Assurance

Validating that files have not been corrupted during the transmission protocol.

timer Data Retention

Our architecture is designed around automated volatility. iLoveTempDrive is a transient utility, not a permanent archive.

The Temporary Self-Destruction Protocol

All uploaded payloads and associated operational metadata are subject to a rigid expiration protocol. A room starts with 30 minutes of access and can be extended in 30-minute steps up to 5 hours from creation. When the final timer ends, the room and its files are purged from our primary storage arrays.

We maintain absolutely zero redundant backups of expired client data. Once the cycle completes, recovery is technologically impossible.

gavel User Rights

Due to the inherent design of our system, specifically the complete lack of persistent user accounts and the automated temporary data destruction cycle, traditional data subject access requests (DSARs) are practically obsolete. We strictly comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 of India by practicing complete data minimization.

If you require premature termination of a file before its scheduled expiration, you may utilize the manual delete option on the drive interface. For inquiries regarding our policy framework under Indian jurisdiction, you may contact our compliance team at [email protected].
